If you mean a great holy war, (at least for crusades) you can choose the beneficiary on the main screen of the crusade tab. If there isn't an existing claimant to the title in question, "Pope's choice" and "my beneficiary" aren't necessarily separate though- whoever you pick IS the Pope's choice too. Sep 2, 2020 · Maybe I am missing something with this, but I don't quite understand why I wouldn't inherit all the land and titles if I am the biggest contributor to a Crusade (like in CK2). You can, however, set your beneficiary stance to taking land yourself, so that if you're the top contributor you get the contested title, although ducal and county titles will still be handed out to your beneficiary and those of others.
